World Card Making Day 2019

I started this hobby of mine after an accident that left me needing an activity that would force me to use my left hand. In turn, what happened, is that I have made life long friendships and have met some wildly talented people! Mostly, though, I have found how much people love receiving a card in the mail (or, in person…). I have now reconnected with cousins, have some new pen-pals and my grown-up daughters get to raid my stash!

The other day I was able to open up a Paper Pumpkin kit and make cards with both my mother and one of her neighbors. Her neighbor brought pie. So, between the laughs we had, THE PIE (I do enjoy pie) and creating cards, it was a wonderful afternoon.

So, even if you aren’t the “creative type” (although, personally, I think we all are), send a card out today just to let someone know you are thinking of them!

As always, Happy Crafting! Colleen

Colleen Light Independent Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator and DIY Crafter I love all paper crafting and I’ve been a Stampin’ Up! Independent demonstrator since 2018. I also do a bit of Quilling (that is fun), cross-stitching and I love to cook! So, it is likely you will see a bit of everything pop up on my blog. Please follow along as I share Stampin' Up's latest products and my current projects. If you are in the United States, I would love to be your demonstrator or have you as a member of my team. Check out the details of becoming a demonstrator at my on-line store (the discounts are definitely helpful). Feel free to drop me a comment. I love to answer questions and talk all things crafty.
