Dandy Garden Bundle and a Facebook Live!!

Hello and welcome to today’s card (inspired by Tami White/ StampwithTami). I survived my Facebook live!! This is a BIG deal for me. I’ve tried before but have always deleted the video, well, because, they were not good…lol. With a sense of humor and persistence, I finally got it done today. I’ll post the link at the end of this blog post.

I love the Dandy Garden Bundle. There is just something about dragonflies. Don’t you love their colors and how they just seem to zip through the air? You will find this bundle on page 27 of the January-June 2021 mini catalog.

Today’s card recipe:

Cutting:

Misty Moonlight cardstock @ 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″. Score @ 4-1/4″

Whisper White (or Basic White) cardstock @ 4-1/8″ x 5-3/8″. Cut 2

Bumblebee cardstock @ 5″ x 2″

Dandy Garden 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper @ 4-7/8″ x 1-3/8″

Stamping:

Using your tall flower bouquet stamp, stamp your image on the left side of the Whisper White cardstock. I used the Misty Moonlight inkpad. I added a pop of color by using my blends and markers. Use what colors you like.

Stamp your sentiment on a scrap of Whisper White cardstock. I chose Misty Moonlight, but I also think the Bumblebee would work well

First, stamp the dragonfly using Misty Moonlight. Next, stamp the wings using Bumblebee. Repeat this process on the back of your envelope. These are not going to line up exactly. They are not meant to.

For your inside layer, grab the second piece of Whisper White. Using the stamp with all of the little dragonflies, stamp along the bottom using your Bumblebee ink.

Punching and Die Cutting:

Using your Layering Circles dies and your die cutting machine, cut out your sentiment. You’ll want to go the next size circle up and die cut a piece of Misty Moonlight. Adhere the two together.

Punch out your dragonfly.

Let’s put this card together:

Glue your inside layer in place. Next, adhere your DSP and Bumblebee cardstock together and glue on the right side of your bouquet image. Next, pop your sentiment and dragonfly up on some dimensionals, add some bling and a bow and this card is done!

I always decorate my envelopes a bit. I think it adds a little extra.
