Humble Home Handmade Christmas Card

Hello and welcome to today’s blog post. Today I am making cards with the Humble Home stamp set and punch from Stampin’ Up!. I don’t know about you, but I love to mail out handmade holiday cards.

This bundle has so much more to offer other than Christmas. Think thank-you, housewarming and welcome to the neighborhood cards. I think it’s a must have set.

Here are the measurements and colors I used:

Thick Basic White cardstock: 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″. Score at 4 1/4″

Snowy Scenes 12″ x 12″ designer series paper: 4″ x 5 1/4″

You will need scraps of Crumb Cake, Pool Party and Poppy Parade.

Assemble your card:

  • Stamp your house image using Poppy Parade ink on Crumb Cake cardstock. Punch out with the coordinating punch.
  • Die cut a piece of Pool Party cardstock using the largest circle from the Stylish Shapes dies. Using Garden Green ink, stamp your sentiment.
  • On a scrap of Poppy Parade, stamp your sentiment. Use your paper trimmer to cut to the appropriate size. Punch out a heart.

Follow the photo to see how easily this card comes together. Don’t forget to add a bit of twine or ribbon and a few embellishments to give your card a festive look.

Thanks for stopping by today and happy crafting! Colleen
