Hello and welcome to today’s blog post. This fun post is all about handmade bows using Stampin’ Up! designer series paper. I say it ALL the time–use up your designer series paper. Let your creativity shine by finding different ways to use the products you purchase.
I made two different styles of bows. If you want the instructions on how to make the gift tag (I used the Merriest Trees bundle), you can look through my blog for the post or head on over to YouTube for the video. I do love to coordinate my projects.
Here are the measurements for the long bow (bow #1 in the video) using the Bee Mine designer series paper:
Cut 1 at 2″ x 12″
Cut 2 at 2″ x 6″
Cut 2 at 2″ x 5″
Cut 1 at 2″ x 4″
Here are the measurements for the smaller bow (bow #2 in the video) using the A Walk in the Forest designer series paper:
Cut 8 strips at 3/4″ x 6″
One coordinating scrap of designer series paper at 3/4″ x 2″
I tried 4 different adhesives: Tear & Tape, Multi-Purpose Liquid Glue, Stampin’ Seal + and the Mini Glue dots. I think they all worked well, but if you have the tweezers and some drying time, I think the liquid glue was the easiest and most cost effective.
I hope you enjoyed today’s blog post. If you watch the video, please like, comment and subscribe.
Happy stamping,
