Scrappy Strip Technique Using the Dainty Flowers Designer Series Paper

Hello and welcome to today’s blog post. This card is perfect for any strips of designer series paper you have in your craft space. Today I am using the Dainty Flowers 12″ x 12″ Designer Series Paper from the 2023 Sale-A-Bration brochure. You can earn this paper for FREE just by placing a $50.00 order (before tax & shipping). I don’t know about you, but I like to use up all of my paper so I can buy more!

Measurements:

Thick Basic White cardstock (card base): 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″. Score at 4 1/4″

Basic White cardstock: 5″ x 3 3/4″

Starry Sky cardstock: 5 1/8″ x 3 7/8″

Dainty Flowers 12″ x 12″ Designer Series Paper: cut the very first strip 1/2″ wide. This gives you an even starting border. After that, I cut the strips with my Stampin’ Trimmer–no measuring needed.

Glue the strips onto the Basic White layer (using the Silicone Craft Sheet makes this a breeze) and trim the edges.

Wrap some twine around the strippy layer and then adhere it to the Starry Sky cardstock. Mount that on the Thick Basic White cardstock. Add a sentiment and some bling and this card is done.

I like finding creative ways to use up my scraps of paper. What do you think about this card? Do you think you will give it a try?

I send a free gift for all orders over $35.00 (before tax and shipping) and if you place an order over $50.00, I will also send you a 4-card tutorial.

Thanks for popping in today, Colleen
