Hello and welcome to the Team Stamp It Group Valentines Blog Hop. I’m happy you are here and I hope you get some inspiration from our projects–I have the links for you below. Be sure to comment and add #stampitcontest for a chance to win the Take Your Pick Tool.
I have been working with the Around the Bend Bundle this week (you will find this bundle in the new Mini Catalog). I absolutely love the dies in this bundle. So, I thought, why not try a Valentines card with this set?! I did take the sentiment and heart stamp from the Share A Milkshake stamp set. Let me know what you think.
Here are the measurements for this card:
Basic White Thick cardstock: 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″. Score at 4 1/4″
Country Gingham 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper : 4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″ (I used the Sweet Sorbet pattern)
Scraps of the 2022-2024 In Color 6″ x 6″ Glimmer Paper and Basic White cardstock
Stamping:
Stamp your sentiment and the little hearts in the right hand corner of your card. These are from the Share A Milkshake stamp set
Die Cuts:
Using one of the big dies in the Around the Bend bundle, die cut the lower portion of your designer series paper. I didn’t measure this–I just placed it where I thought it looked good. Next, die cut the hearts out of the glimmer paper.
Punches:
I used the Double Oval Punch to punch out the sentiment and more of the glimmer paper. Adhere your sentiment to the glimmer paper with the adhesive of your choice (I like the Multi Purpose Glue for this)

Now that everything is ready to go, let’s start putting the card together. I made a bow using the Metallic Mesh Ribbon and attached that to the back of the sentiment piece. Once that was in place, I adhered the DSP to the card base, popped my sentiment up on dimensionals and glued down all of those little hearts. I did add some of the silver Festive Pearls to the sentiment (they match the mesh ribbon).
Thanks for much for stopping by today and a BIG congratulations to last month’s winner, Cliffie Wilson.
Happy Stamping,
Colleen
