Well, clearly, this is not a card. In fact, I have been so busy enjoying this holiday season, not a single card has been created! I also needed to finish up this Christmas project. I am hoping to be back in my studio (otherwise known as our living room and kitchen table..hahaha) soon. In the meantime, I thought I would share this year’s Christmas stocking. This was a fun one to make!
I love making our grandchildren handmade Christmas stockings. I have been cross-stitching for many, many years. I can only do about one a year (so many tiny stitches). One more to go for my eldest daughter’s family and the set is complete!
I generally order my kits from Amazon. I’ve noticed most of the craft stores do not sell much in the cross-stitching section. Is cross-stitching not a thing anymore? Was it ever a thing? Honestly, I can’t remember….
This stocking is from a Dimensions kit. The directions are easy to follow and the kit includes the fabric, thread and a needle. I always purchase extra needles. I really dislike constantly rethreading every time I change colors. I guess we all have our quirks!
The grandchild I gave this stocking to absolutely loves it! I hope she enjoys it for years to come.
Watch for another blog post later this week. Lots of fun things happening at Stampin’ Up!. I’ll keep you posted.
As always, Happy Crafting!! Colleen
