Let’s Celebrate You Handmade Gift Box Using the Silver & Gold 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper

Do you make your own gift boxes? If you do, this is an easy one to recreate with supplies you have on hand.

Sale-a-bration 2022 is coming to an end in just a couple of weeks. If you have not seen the Silver & Gold 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper on page 10 in the Sale-a-bration catalog, it is definitely worth taking a peek at. You can use your blender pens or blending brushes to customize your colors. That really is the fun of it!

I was given some Stampin’ Up! Creative Ideas From The Heart books (from 1999). That is where I took the dimensions for this box from. These books are a treasure trove of ideas!

Here are the measurements:

Thick Basic White: For the bottom of your box, cut at 4 1/2″ x 6 3/4″. Score 3/4″ on all sides. For the top of the box, cut another piece of Basic White just ever so slightly larger and score the same as the bottom. You want your box top to fit tightly.

Silver & Gold 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper: Cut one at 2 3/4″ x 5″. Cut two at 1/2″ x 5″. Cut 2 at 1/2″ x 2 3/4″.

* If you want your DSP to cover more of the box, you can add another 1/8″ to the DSP measurements above*
