Let’s Use Up That Designer Series Paper by Making Gate Fold Cards

My goal this year is to stop hoarding paper and to use it all up. So far, I’m doing pretty good at it. I have the Gingerbread & Peppermint Bundle and the coordinating Designer Series Paper. I have designed most of my Christmas cards using this set. I just love it!

Today, I did a video on how to make this gorgeous Gate Fold card. Of course, any time I use a bit of foil on my cards, I just feel like they have a bit more of that “WOW” factor.

Dimensions:

Card Base: 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″. Score one end at 2-1/8″, rotate and score again at 2-1/8″

Band: 1″ x 9-1/2″

Red Foil Sheet: 2x 5-3/8″

DSP: 1-3/4″ x 5″

I did a YouTube video demonstrating this technique. Hang in there….I eventually cut the paper correctly…hahaha. Do you ever have one of those days where you just can’t seem to get it together?! That was this morning for me:)
