In all of the excitement with the Stampin’ Up new catalog launch, it is easy to forget that the January-June 2021 Mini Catalog will be coming to an end. Although there are sets that are carrying over, the Quite Curvy bundle is not one of them. I love the wavy finishes and the Curvy Dies are fabulous! This card was so easy to make…keep reading to find out.
First, cut your card base @ 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″ and score @ 4-1/4″ . Since I was using the 2021-2023 In Color 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper, I chose Evening Evergreen as my card base.
Next, cut a piece of Basic White @ 4-1/4″ x 5-1/2″. This is a little big–I wanted to be able to get nice, even ends, so I left enough room to trim.
I took all of my In Color scraps, and ran them through my Cut & Emboss Machine using one of the Curvy Dies.
Next, lay them on your Basic White layer. Once you have the pattern of the waves the way you like them, start adhering them with Multi-Purpose glue (or your adhesive of choice). Trim to fit your card base.
Add a sentiment, some ribbon and bling and this card is done! It really does not get any easier than this. This is a great way to use up all of your DSP (don’t we all have a stash!?).
If you are interested in this set, order quickly….it’s will be retiring soon. Stay tuned for the other two cards I have made with this set. I will be sharing those as the week goes on.
