I think Stampin’ Up! has some of the most beautiful designer series paper. The Perennial Lavender 12″ x 12″ DSP from the current mini-catalog is one of my favorites. I chose Highland Heather cardstock as the card base. It really brings out the colors in the designer series paper.
Here are the card measurements:
Highland Heather card base: 5 1/2″ x 6″. Score at 4 1/4″ on the long side. Cut another piece at 1″ x 5 1/2″ (for your embossed layer)
Perennial Lavender designer series paper: 3″ x 5 1/2″. Cut two coordinating pieces–one at 3/4″ x 3″ for the front of your card and one at 1/2″ x 3″ for the inside of your card.
Basic White cardstock: 3″ x 4 1/4″
I have a video tutorial (please like, comment and subscribe) and product links below for you.
Let me know what you think about this card and if you give it a try. I love to hear what you are working on!
