Welcome to the Stamp It Group Christmas Holiday Blog Hop! This is my first blog hop and I am pretty excited to be joining in the fun. Be sure to visit all of the blogs on the “hop” to get some great ideas and inspiration using current Stampin’ Up! products. Don’t forget to leave a comment on each post with #stampitcontest for your chance to win the Cozy & Bright Card Kit. The winner will be announced December 17, 2022.
My card features the Bottled Happiness Bundle found in the current Stampin’ Up! annual catalog combined with traditional Christmas colors and the Boughs of Holly 12″ x 12″ Designer Series Paper. This DSP has been one of my favorites this year–it is stunning.
When you are stamping the bottle, be sure to “stamp off” once. Let me explain for those who are new to stamping. When you “stamp off”, you are first going to stamp a piece of scrap paper, then stamp your image on the cardstock. This will give a lighter look to your image. Stamp as usual for the outline of the bottle.
I used the Merry Melody 3 D Embossing Folder to give the Real Red cardstock a bit more flare. It’s always nice to add a bit of texture to our cards.
Measurements:
Old Olive Cardstock: 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″. Score at 4 1/4″. Cut another piece at 2 1/2″ x 4 1/4″
Real Red Cardstock: 4 1/8″ x 5 3/8″
Very Vanilla cardstock: 2″ x 4″
Basic White cardstock: 4″ x 5 1/4″. You will also need a scrap for your sentiment
Boughs of Holly Designer Series Paper: 2″ x 4 1/8″
I added a bit of ribbon and some rhinestones to really add that holiday flare. I really enjoyed creating this Christmas card.
Thanks so much for joining in our Blog Hop today! Congratulations to last month’s winner, Karen Struve,
Have a wonderful day,
Colleen
