Summer Fun Blog Hop "Cheers" Handmade Card

Hi friends! I have a very fun “Cheers” card for you. This is a fabulous layout that you can use with any of the designer series paper you have in your craft space. Here are the measurements for my card:

Thick Basic White cardstock: 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″. Score at 4 1/4″

Secret Sea cardstock: 4″ x 5 1/4″

Celebratory Sips designer series paper: Cut 1 each at 1 3/4″ x 5″, 1 7/8″ x 3″ and 1 7/8″ x 1 7/8″.

You will need a scrap of Secret Sea for the sentiment and a scrap of Basic White for the circle.

I used my Stylish Shapes dies for the circle, but if you have a punch that is about 2 1/2″, that will also work.

Start by adding those strips of Celebratory Sips designer series paper to your Secret Sea cardstock. These really are such fun patterns.

Stamp a bit above the drink line so it looks like your glass isn’t overfilled. Seriously, I love a designer series paper that does most of the work for me!

I did a bit of embossing and die cut a few images from the designer series paper. I used my Stylish Shapes dies for the sentiment and snipped off the left side. Next it was time to assemble my card. I adhered the circle with multi-purpose liquid glue and popped my die cut images up on dimensionals. I added a few of the Holographic Resin Dots and my card was complete.
