Tips for Making Card Layers

Do you ever get stumped on how to layer your cards? I found this perfect graphic on Pinterest for you (I looked at so many and now I am not sure who to give credit to..). These measurements are for your standard A2 card (5 1/2″ x 4 1/4″).

This graphic shows how to reduce each smaller matting by 1/4″. Of course, you can always add a bit of design interest by adjusting only 1/8″ . Some layers are more appealing with a narrower edge. It really is up to you and what you prefer.

I cut my sample mats out using up some of my scrap paper and keep them in one of Stampin’ Up’s medium clear envelopes.
