Hello and welcome to today’s card. I was organizing my paper stash and found an entire stack of Blackberry Bliss cardstock! Not only was I excited to find this, I was really happy that this is one of the coordinating colors for the Oh So Ombre Designer Series Paper.

Stamping and Coloring:
I stamped my donkey image using the Memento Tuxedo Black ink. Color in the donkey using Smoky Slate and Crumb Cake Stampin’ Blends. Using a Blender Brush and Old Olive ink, blend in below the donkey. This helps to ground your image. I did make a mask (stamp your image on scrap paper, fussy cut and lay over your stamped image) so I could get the color around the donkey’s legs.
I stamped my sentiment directly on the DSP–see below for measurements.
Cutting :
Blackberry Bliss cardstock @ 4-1/4″ x 11″. Score @ 5-1/5. This is your card base.
Oh So Ombre Designer Series Paper @ 4-1/8″ x 5-3/8″
Basic White cardstock @ 4-1/8″ x 5-3/8″. This is for the inside of your card.
Die-Cutting:
I love the Many Hearts Dies. There are so many beautiful dies to choose from. I cut around the donkey using the biggest heart die with the scalloped edges. I then cut two more hearts from the Love You Always Foil Sheets. These foils are stunning!
Die-cut the butterfly using the Oh So Ombre DSP.
***To make the foil cut-outs adhere easily, I used adhesive sheets***
Let’s Put This Card Together:
Place a strip of ribbon about halfway down on the Oh So Ombre layer and glue to the back (some folks use Scotch Tape to hold the ribbon in place). Next, peel off the back layer on the adhesive sheet on your hearts, and stick in place.
Using dimensionals, pop up the big heart with your image. I used a mini dimensional to pop the butterfly up. Add your bling and this card is done!
