Pale Papaya and Painted Poppies Triple Time Technique Hello Card!

Hello and welcome to today’s blog post. This is the second card in this week’s series of showcasing the Painted Poppies stamp set and the Triple Time Technique. I love how the Pale Papaya and Soft Succulent inks come together in this card. What do you think?

Keep reading to find out how I made this card.

Cutting:

Basic Black cardstock: 4-1/4″ x 11″, score @ 5-1/2″. This is your card base.

Pale Papaya cardstock: You will need three pieces. 4″ x 5-1/4″; 2″ x 4-3/4″; 2-1/4″ x 3-1/4″

Basic White cardstock: You will need four pieces: 4″ x 5-1/4″ (this is for the inside of your card): 3-3/4″ x 5″; 1-3/4″ x 4-1/2″; 2″ x 3″

Stamping:

On the smallest piece of Basic White, stamp your poppy and sentiment. I can not remember what stamp set I picked the “hello” from. Use whatever sentiment you like that fits. Next, put all of your Basic White layers together in the correct layout (use one glue dot per layer—when you separate the layers, you do not want to tear your paper). Now, randomly stamp your flowers and fill them in with Pale Papaya ink ( when filling in, I stamped off once for a lighter tone.). I used the small splotchy stamp and Soft Succulent to fill in the blank spots. You can watch my YouTube video to see how this technique works: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2Fp_v1yd2Mc&t=348s. This is my second YouTube video, so it’s a little rough in spots…watch as I look for the Stampin’ Seal…hahahaha.

Don’t forget to stamp your inside layer and your envelope.

Let’s Put This Card Together:

Adhere your Basic White layers to the appropriate Pale Papaya layers. On the smallest layer, wrap a piece of ribbon around the base. Pop that smallest layer up on dimensionals. Add some bling and this card is ready to send off to someone special.

I hope you enjoyed today’s card. I love the new In Colors and I am so excited for our new catalog launch on May 4th, 2021. If you do not already have a demonstrator and would like a catalog, please send me a message. I would be happy to send one off to you.
