Hello and welcome to today’s fun fold card. I needed a few more Thanksgiving cards and the Autumn Goodness Bundle fit the bill. The Autumn Wheelbarrow dies are just fabulous! This is one of the layouts that was displayed during our OnStage event. I believe Jackie Bolhuis was the demonstrator that showcased this layout.
Card recipe:
Cuttting:
Crumb Cake cardstock @ 8″ x 4-1/2″. Score @ 2-1/2″
Soft Suede cardstock @ 4-3/8″ x 2-3/8″. Cut 2 pieces @ 4-1/2″ x 3″. One of these will be for the inside of your card.
Very Vanilla cardstock @ 4-3/8″ x 2-7/8″. Cut 2 pieces. One of these is for the inside of your card.
Gilded Autumn Specialty DSP @ 4-1/8″ x 2-1/4″
Stamping:
Stamp the sentiment on one piece of the Very Vanilla. On a scrap piece of Very Vanilla, stamp the fruit basket.
* I placed the fence die on the cardstock to make sure I had the proper placement*
Coloring:
Using your blends, markers or watercolor pencils, color in your fruit basket. I used a variety of colors from my Stampin’ Blends collection. I’ve been slowly collecting my blends. I tend to add a new color to every order I place.
At the base of the Very Vanilla cardstock (the front panel), use your sponge daubers to get some ink at the bottom of that cardstock. I used Crumb Cake and Daffodil Delight. This really helps to ground the fence.
Die Cutting:
Now is the time to die cut the fence and your fruit basket/ pumpkins. I don’t know if you can tell in the photo, but there is the slightest impression of woodgrain on the fencing. Just another special detail to your card!
Let’s Finish This Card:
Add some ribbon and bling, glue everything together and pop that basket up on some dimensionals. For the inside of your card, make sure you line those layers up with the outside panel. You want them to line up perfectly.
