Dragonfly Garden Bundle using Fresh Freesia

Hello and welcome to today’s blog post. This is the third card I have made this week showcasing the Dragonfly Bundle. Don’t you just love Stampin’ Ups 2021-2023 In Colors?! You might have guessed that the Fresh Freesia is my newest favorite color. Continue reading to find out how I made this card.

Cutting:

Evening Evergreen cardstock @ 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″. Score @ 4-1/4″. This is your card base.

Basic White cardstock: cut 2 @ 4-1/8 x 5-3/8. One of these will be for inside of your card.

Fresh Freesia cardstock @ 2″ x 5″

Basic White cardstock @ 1-7/8″ x 4-7/8″

You will need two scraps of Basic White and one scrap of Evening Evergreen

Stamping:

Stamp the long flower bouquet in Soft Succulent. Color in the bouquet using the Stampin’ Blends or markers of your choice.

Stamp the sentiment and the dragonfly. For the dragonfly, I first stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black ink and used the Fresh Freesia for the wings.

I didn’t have the DSP I wanted, so I stamped the Basic White with the little dragonflies stamp to create my own.

Die Cutting and Using the Punch:

Punch out the dragonfly. Next, using your Layering Circle Dies, cut out your sentiment and the circle with the scalloped edge.

Let’s Put this Card Together:

Adhere all of your layers together. I popped both the sentiment and dragonfly up on dimensionals. I also added a touch of ribbon and some bling to complete this card.

Isn’t this pretty? What is your favorite In Color? I really like them all, but it is definitely Fresh Freesia for me…at least for today!
