Easel Card Using Peaceful Poppies Suite

I really enjoy a fun fold card. This is a super easy card using the Peaceful Poppies Suite. I just love all of the colors in this suite. Everything coordinates which makes creating so easy.

Card recipe:

~ Cut a piece of Poppy Parade card stock at 8-1/2” x 4-1/4”. Along the long side, score at 4-1/4” and 6-1/2”. Fold along those score lines into an upside down “V” shape. Cut another piece of Poppy Parade card stock at 4-1/4” x 4-1/4 inch. Since you have the Poppy Parade out, now is a good time to cut the tag piece at 4-1/4” x 1”.

~ Cut your Peaceful Poppies DSP at 4-1/8” x 4-1/8”.

~ Cut Whisper White card stock at 4-1/8” x 4-1/8”. For the tag, cut another piece of Whisper White at 4-1/8” x 3/4”.

~ Now, on to the dies. Using your die cutting machine, cut a solid poppy using the DSP of your choice and the outline using Basic Black card stock. Carefully glue these two pieces together. I used Tombow multi-liquid glue applied with a toothpick. A touch of Wink of Stella to the center of the flower adds that little something extra. If you don’t have Wink of Stella, glitter or embossing powder would work well.

~ Stamp your images.

~ For the tag: glue the Whisper White to the Poppy Parade card stock. Flag the end either using your scissors or punch. Use whatever you have. I wrapped the Whisper White 1/4” Crinkled Sean Binding Ribbon around the left edge of the tag and popped a bow on. ***This ribbon can be dyed using your Stampin’ Blends or Ink Refills***

~ Time to put your card together. Adhere all of the top layers together and pop your flower up using dimensionals. Adhere that top layer to the upside down “V” making sure things are even on the bottom. You want your card to stand up nice and straight.

~ I added Peaceful Poppies Elements to the Whisper White layer. This is just thick enough to hold that top layer in place. Glue this to the inside Whisper White layer.
