Hello and welcome to today’s card. Heartfelt Blooms is a retired Sale-A-Bration stamp set. If you have it in your stash of sets, dig it out as this is a wonderful, easy card to make with just a few supplies. If you don’t, I would suggest Ornate Style, Healing Hugs or Prized Peony—all found in the 2020- 2021 catalog. I think this is one of my favorite catalogs to date. There is such a wide variety of stamp sets to choose from. I think the biggest improvement (for me, at least), is the availability of both masculine and children’s sets.
Card recipe:
~ Cut your card base at 8-1/2” x 5-1/2”. Score at 4-1/4”. I used one of the 2020-2021 In-Colors—-Bumble Bee.
~ Cut a piece of Whisper White at 4-1/8” x 5-3/8”. Stamp your image on this piece. I used Daffodil Delight. Honestly, that has been my “go to” yellow for so long, I forgot all about my new Bumble Bee ink pad! I just placed my stamp in the corner (make sure you have scrap paper behind this piece!) and stamped away. **For the second card, I stamped the image on a piece of scrap paper before stamping on the Whisper White. I wanted a lighter image**.
~ I wrapped some twine/ ribbon around the base and then adhered this layer to the card base. Add some bling and this card is done!
