Pattern Play and Approaching Perfection Birthday card

Hello and welcome to today’s blog post! This birthday card is for a special little girl that LOVES rainbows and all the colors. This card was super easy and very fun to make.

No real tutorial today, but here is how I made the letters and numbers: using your blends or markers, run streaks of color across a scrap of Basic White cardstock. Attach that scrap to a piece of the Foam Adhesive Sheets (I love these!!). Using your die cutting machine and the Playful Alphabet Dies, cut your letters/ numbers out.

For the candles: use your markers (or Blender pens and ink—do NOT use your Stampin’ Blends) and apply your ink directly to the stamp. That is the very best way to get different colors on one stamp.

I have links to most of the products I used below. The Approaching Perfection stamp set is a Sale-A-Bration item and can be earned with a $50.00 purchase. Sale-A-Bration is coming to a close at the end of this month…yikes! It sure has been a fast couple of months.

Have a wonderful day and happy crafting!! Colleen
