Today’s card is a quick and easy birthday card made with just a few supplies. Lately, my favorite color is Flirty Flamingo, so that color is the star of this card. The Thoughtful Blooms stamp set and the Small Bloom Punch are only available during Sale-A-Bration which ends on March 31,2020.
Card recipe:
~ Cut Flirty Flamingo card stock at 8-1/2” x 5-1/2”. Score at 4-1/4”
~ Cut the 2019-2021 In Color 6” x 6” DSP at 5-7/8” x 4-1/8”
~ Cut Whisper White card stock at 5-1/4” x 4” (cut two if you want a Whisper White layer on the inside of your card).
~ Now it’s time to stamp! I did a whimsical pattern across the card. I love how it looks. To begin: stamp 3 of the larger flowers on a scrap of Flirty Flamingo card stock and punch out with the Small Bloom Punch (this can be found on page 13 of the the Sale-A-Bration mini catalog). Use these as a guide as you stamp everything else. Stamp the leaves in Garden Green, the flowers in Flirty Flamingo and the berries in pool party. Don’t forget to stamp your sentiment on a scrap of Whisper White.
~ Adhere your 3 large flowers.
~ Using the Timeless Label punch: punch out your sentiment and a piece of Flirty Flamingo card stock. I cut the Flirty Flamingo piece in half lengthwise to create a backdrop for the Whisper White piece. Adhere your layers.
~ Wrap some twine or ribbon around the base of the Whisper White 5-1/4” x 4” layer. Once that is in place, glue all of your layers together, pop your sentiment up on dimensionals, add some bling and your card is done!
