Today’s card is a simple sympathy card using the Timeless Tulips Bundle, 3 colors of card stock, some simple stamping, an embossing folder, twine and bling. This card really comes together quickly.
Card recipe:
~ The base: cut Pretty Peacock card stock at 8-1/2” x 5-1/2”. Score at 4-1/4”. For the tag: punch out a piece of scrap Pretty Peacock card stock using the Timeless Label punch. I use this punch a lot.
~ For the second layer: cut two pieces of Whisper White card stock at 5-1/4” x 4”. One of these will be for the inside of your card. Punch out a label for your sentiment using the Whisper White card stock and the Timeless Label punch.
~ Stamp your images on the Whisper White card stock using Terracotta Tile and Old Olive ink pads. When the ink is dry, run this piece through your Big Shot using the Subtle Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder. This is an optional step, but I think it adds more texture to your card.
~ Using the largest tulip stamp, stamp the image on a scrap of Terracotta Tile using the same color ink. Once dry, punch that image out.
~ Adhere your sentiment to the punched out piece of Terracotta Tile cardstock creating a shadow effect. Once you figure out where you want to place the sentiment, wrap some twine around that area.
~ Adhere the Whisper White layer to the front of your card base. Pop the punched out tulip and sentiment tag up on dimensionals and place in the appropriate location. Add some bling and your card is done!
